Unique Cultural Sensitivity Training:

Removing Barriers to Care

A unique cultural sensitivity training opportunity is being offered to the SE Florida health care community on the topic of removing barriers to care for women who partner with women (WPW). Research has shown that WPW may be at greater risk for certain cancers ( including breast, cervical and ovarian) than heterosexual women. This is due to biologic, lifestyle and sociocultural factors.
